Windmill project
with Rapid Logistics

Rapid Logistics Project department has been awarded with a project to give new life to the windmills located on the Slufter area within the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam. Together with his client and Rapids related partners arranging the logistics process from A to Z allowing these mills to be transported to Spain.

Near to the Slufter area Rapid Logistics assigned Rhenus Deep Sea Terminal as base of consolidation. Rapid Logistics employed mv Symphony Star, together with their operators drawing a plan to seaworthy load all these components onboard. Rapid Logistics assigns surveyors to oversee the entire load operation this to ensure safe usage of the special tools & equipment involved. Our new 125 mt Kone Gottwald was used to single lift the tower sections. The blades, because of the length, were lifted with two cranes. The whole loading operations was done within 2 days.
