Any way you want it, we can take care of it

Because of the increasing vessel sizes, high volatility of cargo volumes, and an increasing, demand for supply chain integration we are challenged to optimize our activities and efficiently serve different categories of vessels carrying various types of cargo.

Breakbulk is the most common cargo flow, but decreased in numbers since the 1960’s. This mainly was due to the labor intensively of handling breakbulk cargo. In general, breakbulk, project cargo and heavy lifts are non-standardized object, which makes every handling by a crane tailor made. To make things easier, the container was invented.

However, breakbulk cargoes remained and are increasing in volume and numbers. One of the shipping lines that collects these kinds of non-standardized cargoes is Nirint Shipping, which ships containers, bulk and break bulk such as project cargo, roro and heavy lift cargo. The Rhenus Deep Sea Terminal is perfect for such shipping lines because we don’t know any limitations by bridges or docks or in terms of depth. Also, our location at the Maasvlakte is strategically located amongst the deep sea terminals and the near to the North Sea.
