Rhenus Logistics B.V. nominated for the Heavy Lift Awards.

We are still electrified with our nomination for the Heavy Lift Awards. At Rhenus Logistics B.V., we strive to continuously work on reducing our CO2 footprint. In this light, we are expanding our car park with several electric cars (including one safety car).

Driving a fully Electric Vehicle (EV) contributes to reduce harmful air pollution from exhaust emissions and even save us about 55-60% in fuel costs. Because electric motors react quickly, EVs are very responsive and have very good torque. A recent study shows that only 30% more kWh is consumed than with a diesel vehicle.

Coming year, we will welcome 4 additional EV’s to our car park. In addition to this, we are going to provide several charging stations at our terminals. We are looking forward to an even more sustainable approach of doing business at Rhenus Logistics B.V.
