World's largest Heavy Lift Jack Up Barge

With a length of 107 m and a width almost 48m this “kid” is one of the biggest at his block. Since the beginning of April, the Zourite is at the Rhenus Waalhaven waiting for its next project. It is known as one of the world’s largest Heavy Lift Jack Up Barge and is often used for marine projects, such as the construction of bridges and viaducts near shore.

Norwegian shipping company OHT (Offshore Heavy Transport) was responsible for the transport from Eastern Africa. The name ’Zourite’ means octopus in local language (French), which is a reference to its eight legs.
