Project Cargo hub

GE POWER PLANT
WITH FRACHT AG

During a two month period Rhenus Deep Sea Terminal functioned as a project cargo hub for Fracht AG as project forwarder receiving General Electric power plant parts from Germany, the UK, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands. We collected cargo packages weighing from 0,5kg up to 160.000kg.

In total about 800mt and 200 pieces, the longest piece was almost 30 meters long. When the shipment was ready the cargo was picked up by a heavy lifter from BBC Shipping (with MultiMarine as their agent) that shipped the cargo to the UAE.
