Because of the increasing vessel sizes, high volatility of cargo volumes, and an increasing, demand for supply chain integration we are challenged to optimize our activities and efficiently serve different categories of vessels carrying various types of cargo.
Last week at the Rhenus Deep Sea Terminal, Maasvlakte Rotterdam we received the Matador 3. This floating crane from Bonn & Mees, picked up a scrubber tank to load it on board of a Maersk container vessel who shipped it to the final destination.
Our terminal at the Waalhaven in Rotterdam received the Super Servant 4. A heavy lift and yacht carrier, which is semi-submersible, has a length of almost 170mtr and operates since 1982 under Curacao flag.
Our deep sea terminal in Rotterdam at the Maasvlakte received the BBC California. With great care we unloaded 32 large cables of steel from several trucks.
At this picture you can see the red and brand new truck of Buchen-ICS removing 5000 liter of contaminated anti-freeze (Glycol) from a heavy lift piece.
